Using the Cove Platform to Host & Advertise Events
The 2445 M Team Celebrated Earth Day by hosting an event called HapBee Earth Day.
This team hosts a monthly tenant event, and the goals of this particular event were to:
celebrate Earth Day
engage tenants
introduce tenants to the bee hives they support
promote ESG initiatives
Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of bees as a beekeeper takes you on a journey through their enchanting environment. Delight your taste buds with a selection of delectable honey-themed foods and drinks that will sweeten your day.
Using Cove for Event Management & Communication
“Traditionally in property management we have always had a point of contact with our tenants- we would give the information to our tenant points of contact and they would disseminate it. If they didn’t communicate it or they got busy and ran out of time, we would lose the ability to communicate with the rest of their teams.
The great part about Cove is that the average user has access to the information so we can communicate with everyone in the building, not just the tenant point of contact. “
- Julie Hayunga, Associate Director, Asset Services
The building team advertised the event using:
events on the cove mobile app
cove displays
cove email announcements sent to tenants on the first of the month and a reminder at the beginning of the week
tenant-specific event communication
Pro-Tips:
Include food in your events when you can. We hear this from all of our partners— food always brings people to events!
If your food menu is not yet finalized but you need to begin advertising the event, use general and enticing descriptors instead of specifics about the food.
The 2445 team said “honey-themed foods and drinks that will sweeten your day” instead of specifics to ensure they were able to advertise in time.
